NRS Pulsar XL Single-Person Self-Bailing Packraft is made for users who want one compact boat for calm water, faster river sections and longer trips with gear. The 246 cm long XL hull gives more room and capacity, and the Vertex outfitting system lets you adjust your seating position and control the packraft better.

Self-bailing and handling in varied water

The self-bailing floor constantly drains out any water that gets in, so the Pulsar XL suits not only calm outings but also more dynamic river sections. The Vertex three-point thigh straps and adjustable backband help connect the paddler to the boat more steadily. This gives more precise control when maneuvering, but it doesn't replace proper paddling skills and personal protective gear.

The 135D nylon tubes and 840D nylon floor are TPU-coated on both sides. There is no PVC in the construction. The overlapping RF-welded seams are additionally sealed with an inner tape, and the aluminum hardware and non-rotating D-rings are for attaching supports and gear.

"NRSInternal TIZIP storage
The TIZIP SuperSeal zip at the stern gives access to the inside of the packraft's tubes, where you can put trip gear. Distribute the cargo evenly and put it in suitable inner bags. The zip also helps let the air out faster when packing the packraft.

Who is the NRS Pulsar XL for?

The Pulsar XL is recommended for hikers, cyclists, paddlers and travelers who need a balance between compactness, handling and cargo space. The XL size suits a larger paddler or a longer trip. The manufacturer's recommended combined weight of person and cargo is up to 136 kg.
