NRS Vertex Pro packraft seat back with a throw rope holder is an adjustable backband with a throw rope holder, made for packraft control and stowing a compatible throw rope. This NRS packraft accessory helps you adjust the backband comfortably and keep the rope within easy reach. Before buying, check compatibility with your packraft and its attachment points, as different models may come with a different base setup.

"NRSSupport and rope stowage
The back of the Vertex Pro backband has an integrated spot for stowing the NRS Vertex Throw Rope. The throw rope is sold separately, so buyers can choose only the setup that suits their needs.

Adjustable three-point attachment

Backband tension and position are adjusted with a three-point system. The one-piece 3D EVA foam construction helps cut weight and improves ventilation and drying. A waist belt with a quick-release buckle turns the backband into a body-worn rope holder when you need it ashore.

"NRSCompatible Vertex system
The aluminum hardware is made for the NRS Vertex Outfitting system. Check the packraft's attachment points before fitting, and anyone using the throw rope must have the necessary safety and rescue skills.

Who is it for?

This accessory is for experienced packraft users who use the Vertex system and want to neatly stow a separately purchased throw rope. It is sold separately, so it shouldn't be treated as part of the packraft's base kit unless the manufacturer of your specific model says otherwise. Before fitting or using it, read the manufacturer's instructions and check that the part is undamaged.

After use we recommend rinsing it with fresh water, drying it fully and storing it in a dry place. Regular inspection helps you spot wear, damaged attachments or built-up dirt in time.
