NRS aluminium non rotating D ring patch for a packraft, 2.54 cm is an aluminum non-rotating D-ring attachment patch for fitting a Vertex backrest, thigh straps or an extra attachment point. This NRS packraft accessory helps transfer motion between paddler and packraft more reliably. Before buying, check compatibility with your packraft and its attachment points, as different models may come with a different base setup.

"NRSNon-rotating aluminum D-ring
The aluminum D-ring is built to rotate less under load. This helps you attach compatible Vertex system accessories and a custom packraft setup more steadily.

Vertex system fit

NRS recommends this patch for fitting a Vertex backrest and thigh straps to older or otherwise equipped packrafts. The patch material is TPU-coated nylon with nylon webbing, and the attachment hardware is aluminum. Before fitting, work out the position precisely and follow the gluing procedure.

Who is it for?

This accessory is for NRS packraft users who want to adapt their packraft to the Vertex system or add a more durable attachment point. It is sold separately, so it shouldn't be treated as part of the packraft's base kit unless the manufacturer of your specific model says otherwise. Before fitting or using it, read the manufacturer's instructions and check that the part is undamaged.

    Use and care

Before fitting, make sure the surface is clean and dry. After gluing, follow the instructions of the adhesive you use, and before a trip check the patch edges and the D-ring's firmness. After use we recommend rinsing it with fresh water, drying it fully and storing it in a dry place. Regular inspection helps you spot wear, damaged attachments or built-up dirt in time.

The aluminum non-rotating D-ring is the better choice when you need a Vertex system attachment or more reliable load transfer.

Before every trip, take a few minutes to check the condition of the fittings, straps and material. This habit helps you use the accessory as intended and avoid nasty surprises on the trip.
