The NRS Tow Tether with Carabiner is a stretchy towing link, also called a "cow tail", with an integrated rubber shock absorber. Made for use with lifejackets that have quick release towing systems.
The O ring with a velcro hook patch centres the ring on lifejackets that have a velcro loop on the back, so the link stays positioned until you need it. The carabiner end also has a velcro hook that pairs with a loop on the front of the lifejacket, for integration with a quick release system.
The NRS Nuq Twist Lock carabiner prevents accidental release in the field or among other gear. The large forged aluminium O ring has a minimum breaking strength of 33 kN.
Choose a length: 33" (84 cm stretched, 48 cm unstretched, weight 227 g) or 53" (135 cm stretched, 84 cm unstretched, weight 272 g). Each has 15 cm added to the stated length for the carabiner and O ring.
