Construction and details

Quick lacing
The laces go through eyelets at the bottom and open hooks at the top. This makes it quick to lace up, even with gloves, and tightens evenly across the entire instep.

What is Thinsulate?

Thinsulate is an insulation material made of very thin fibers, hundreds of times thinner than a human hair. This structure retains body heat well, remains light and does not add volume, so the shoes do not restrict movement. The material is breathable, compresses easily and warms even when wet. Thinsulate consists of 65 % polyolefin and 35 % polyester fibers.

This material was developed in the 1960s and became popular in ski clothing in the 1970s. Today it is used in professional and everyday winter equipment. Thinsulate retains heat well even in humid environments, as the hollow fibers do not collapse, so the thermal insulation remains even in the most difficult conditions. It is strong and long-lasting.
