NuCanoe Wizard FCS steering system

NuCanoe Wizard FCS steering system: foot-controlled kayak steering for fishing

NuCanoe Wizard FCS steering system is a foot-controlled steering system made for anglers who need precise kayak control with free hands. The system was developed by Romel Labrador, known as "The Wizard", an experienced kayak angler and inventor. The FCS (Foot Control Steering) pedal mechanism lets you steer the kayak with your feet while your hands stay free for rods and fishing gear.

Bearing-based mechanism
The Wizard FCS steering system is bearing-based, so pedal control is smooth and friction-free. The pedal length adjusts to your legs and seating position, so it is comfortable regardless of height. The integrated locking function lets you lock the steering handle to hold a chosen heading, which is useful when covering a longer distance in a straight line or fishing in current.

Compatibility and installation
The system is compatible with many kayaks that have standard footrest mounting points. The Wizard FCS works with both electric motor control and a rudder system. Installation is simple and needs no special tools. The system is compact and easy to transport together with the kayak.

Who is the Wizard FCS for?

Ideal for anglers who use an electric motor or a rudder and want to steer the kayak with their feet while keeping their hands free for fishing. Especially useful when trolling, fishing with live bait or using two rods at once.
