The NRS Guardian Wedge Waist Throw Bag is a rescue throw bag worn on a belt. It gives you quick access to the rope both in the boat and when scouting rapids from the bank.
How the system works: the outer belt bag holds a removable Wedge throw bag. The bag opens with a wide velcro flap and a zip, so the Wedge bag can be taken out or swapped quickly. Drain holes in the outer bag let water out right after use.
The removable Wedge bag has a foam float, so a thrown bag floats and is easy to see in the water. The mesh sides help it dry faster. The reflective band improves visibility in low light.
Rope: 17 m × 6 mm polypropylene, breaking strength 431 kgf (4.22 kN). The rope floats. Carabiner loops at the rope ends let you attach extra equipment.
The quick release belt buckle ensures a safe disconnect in an emergency.
