Wilderness Systems RADAR 135

Wilderness Systems RADAR 135 — an expedition fishing platform for long trips

The RADAR 135 is the longest Wilderness Systems fishing kayak — a 412 cm hull with an 86 cm width, built for anglers who travel to distant fishing spots and return the same day. The longer hull gives better speed and glide efficiency than the wider RECON models, while keeping a stable fishing platform.

The 86 cm width is a compromise between speed and stability — narrower than the RECON (97 cm), but still wide enough for stand-up fishing. A 181 kg load capacity lets you take all the gear you need for a long day on the water.

Key features

✔ 412 cm length — the fastest fishing model — a longer hull means more speed with less effort. You reach distant fishing spots sooner and get back sooner.

✔ 86 cm width — speed + stability — narrower than the RECON, but still stable for fishing. The best balance between reach and platform stability.

✔ 181 kg capacity — enough for a heavier angler with full electronics and supplies for the whole day.

✔ ACES raised seat — height-adjustable sliding seat. Better visibility and comfort on long trips to the fishing spot.

✔ SlideTrax system — a full rail system for accessories. A platform you can configure to your fishing style.

✔ Motor-ready — option to mount an electric motor for trips to distant spots.

RADAR 135 ar RECON 120?

The RECON 120 is wider (97 cm) and more stable standing, but slower. The RADAR 135 is faster and more efficient on long trips, but has a narrower platform. If you fish close to shore and stability matters most — RECON. If you travel 5+ km to the fishing spot — the RADAR will save energy on the way.

Who it's for

For kayak anglers who travel longer distances to fishing spots. Large lakes, the coast, wide stretches of river. Ideal for those who want both speed and a fishing platform in one kayak.
