Cockpit and controls
The central platform is designed so every control is within reach from the seat. The Cyclone Pedal Drive well lets you drop in and remove the pedal system quickly. The rudder lever is reachable with one hand straight from the seat, and the 20% larger rudder angle gives precise manoeuvring around structure. Tracks on both sides of the cockpit take Railblaza accessories such as fish finders, cameras and rod holders without drilling the hull. A built-in measuring ruler on the deck lets you measure your catch quickly.

Front hatch and storage
A roomy front hatch with a sealed lid gives secure storage for gear you don't need all the time: spares, clothes or food. The sealed design keeps things dry even in waves. Tracks next to the hatch let you mount extra accessories without drilling. The hatch lid with the Galaxy Kayaks logo opens with one hand.

Rear tank well and bungee system
The rear tank well with the Galaxy Kayaks logo and bungee cords gives quick access to frequently used gear and holds it securely in waves. Tracks on both sides let you add a fish finder, cameras or other accessories. A carry handle at the stern makes it easier to carry and drag the kayak.

Central platform and features
The central platform packs every fishing feature into a compact space. A tackle tray sits next to the Cyclone Drive well, keeping your most-used lures and tools within reach. Rod holder openings built into the hull hold your rods securely even in waves. A Torqeedo motor mount at the stern lets you add an electric motor for long trips.

Why do load zones matter?

The maximum load under the CE certificate is 190 kg (Max Performance Total Weight), and the absolute maximum is 236 kg (Max Carry Weight). The base weight of the kayak with the Vista Supernova High seat and Cyclone Pedal Drive is about 63.6 kg (57.1 kg kayak + 6.5 kg pedals).

IMPORTANT: Load calculation:

190 kg (Max Performance) - 63.6 kg (kayak with seat and pedals) = 126.4 kg left for the paddler and gear.

Optimal 60-85% of 190 kg = 114-161.5 kg total load (kayak + pedals + paddler + gear).

Green zone (114-161.5 kg total load): Kayak 63.6 kg + paddler 80 kg + gear 20 kg = 163.6 kg: ideal balance, best stability, optimal pedal performance.

Blue zone (below 114 kg total load): Kayak 63.6 kg + paddler 60 kg + gear 10 kg = 133.6 kg: too light, the kayak may be less stable in waves or wind.

Red zone (161.5-190 kg total load): Kayak 63.6 kg + paddler 100 kg + gear 30 kg = 193.6 kg: safe under CE, but less manoeuvrable and lower pedal efficiency.

Recommended maximum paddler weight: up to 120 kg.
