Bonafide Sidekick is a wheel system mounted directly on a Bonafide kayak. It attaches to the black anodised groove track right behind the seat, so no separate trolley is needed: tip the kayak onto its wheels and roll it to the water on your own. The system fits the Bonafide PWR129, RVR119, SKF117 and P127, and the XTR130 with an extra adapter.

Mounting to the track behind the seat
The Sidekick attaches only to the black anodised groove track right behind the seat. The manufacturer warns that mounting it on another track voids the hull warranty. No drilling is needed for installation.

Locking and removal
The mounting mechanism with a lock holds the wheels securely while rolling and lets you remove them quickly once the kayak is in the water. You can leave the wheels on the shore or take them with you.

Gear stays in the kayak
With the Sidekick you can roll the kayak with up to 23 kg of extra gear inside, so there is no need to unload rods and crates. The manufacturer does not recommend loading more when going over kerbs, rough ground or unloading from a pickup.

It is simple to use: at the car, lock the wheels onto the track, lift the bow and roll the kayak to the water like a wheelbarrow. At the shore, remove the wheels and paddle off, then put them back on when you return and roll back just as easily.
