The NRS Pro Guardian Wedge Waist Throw Bag is a professional waist worn rescue throw bag. It differs from the standard Guardian Wedge in the rope material: 6 mm UltraLine with a Spectra® core reaches a 1131 kgf (11.1 kN) breaking strength, 2.6 times stronger than standard polypropylene.
This means the Pro version can be used not only to rescue swimmers but also to pull pinned boats or heavy objects free: the current will not break the UltraLine rope.
The construction is the same as the Guardian Wedge: a removable Wedge bag with a foam float and mesh sides, quick opening with velcro + a zip, drain holes and a quick release belt buckle. Carabiner loops at the rope ends.
