NRS River Wing shelter

NRS River Wing shelter: reliable protection from sun and rain

The NRS River Wing shelter is made for water sports enthusiasts who camp by rivers, lakes or the sea coast. Its large 17.6 sq m canopy (518 x 488 cm at the widest point) reliably covers the camp table, kitchen and the whole crew even in heavy rain. The new 40 denier ripstop nylon makes the shelter lighter than ever: the whole set with its bag weighs only 5.1 kg.

The NRS River Wing shelter is a great choice for anyone who values quality and reliability outdoors. Whether you are resting after a long day of paddling or simply want protection from direct sun, this shelter delivers.

Construction and materials

The shelter canopy is made from 40 denier ripstop nylon with factory taped seams that make it fully waterproof. The fabric will stand up to seasons of wind, rain and UV exposure. The poles are made from high strength hardened aluminium with carbon fibre connectors and reliable push button locks. The height of the NRS River Wing can be adjusted up to 305 cm using four 61 cm and four 91 cm pole sections in different combinations.

Who is the NRS River Wing shelter for?

Ideal for camping by rivers and lakes when you need a large sheltered space for the whole group. The 17.6 sq m canopy comfortably covers a camp table, a kitchen and several chairs. It is especially useful on multi day kayak or raft trips, where the rest stop becomes a second home.

Unlike standard camping shelters, the wing shape of the NRS River Wing is designed to withstand wind gusts and stay stable even in an open spot. The heavy gauge guy lines have adjustable tensioners and bright reflective strips that keep them visible by day and by night.
