Bonafide Kayak Hatch Cover

A cover tailored to your exact kayak

Bonafide Kayak Hatch Cover is not a universal bag. Each version is sewn to the hull shape of a specific model, so there are no loose spots where water collects and no flapping edges for the wind to rip off on the highway.

Fastening that holds

A strap set is included, one for each pair of loops, five or six depending on the model. The straps pass through the sewn-in loops and pull the cover tight to the hull, so you can transport the kayak covered, not just store it in the garage.

Materials that survive a season outdoors

The covers are sewn with marine-grade thread that doesn't absorb moisture, so the seams don't rot even if the kayak is kept outside. Double stitching and four-layer seams are where cheap covers fail first.

Who is it for?

✓ For those who keep the kayak outdoors or under a lean-to

✓ For those who tow the kayak on a trailer over longer distances

✓ For those who don't want deck gear baking in the sun all summer
