Bonafide Flex Wings (XTR / SS)

Bonafide Flex Wings tracking plates

Flex Wings are tracking plates designed to improve the straight line tracking and handling of Bonafide fishing kayaks. Bonafide is the only kayak maker that uses dual skid plates, and this allowed them to create a solution that works more effectively than a traditional skeg or rudder.

How it works

The plates mount under the existing dual skid plates using the original kayak fasteners. Fasteners are not included, because the kayak's existing parts are used. The Flex Wings point inward and effectively manage the turbulent water flow coming off the stern. The result is a noticeable improvement in tracking and handling, especially when paddling in a crosswind or current.

Material and durability

Made in the USA from flexible but stiff rubber. Flex Wings can be dragged over rocks, gravel and wood without worrying about damage. The material withstands everyday use and will not lose its properties over the kayak's lifetime.

Compatibility

The set fits the following Bonafide models:

• Bonafide XTR130
• Bonafide SS107
• Bonafide SS127

The set includes 2 pcs, for both sides of the kayak.
