How the Thumbs Up case works

Flexible hinge instead of buckle

The case has no buckles or straps. The knife is held in place by a flexible plastic hinge: when inserted, the knife clicks and stays in place. To remove it, you lift the handle with your thumb and the knife comes free. Everything is done with one hand.

Attachment to a life jacket

The clip locks securely onto the vest mounting plate. The low profile prevents ropes and bag straps from getting caught behind it, so the case doesn't interfere with paddling or boarding the boat.

Care

Rinse the case with fresh water after use. If it starts to feel loose, tighten the screw below the NRS logo with a #6 Torx wrench. Do not use other screwdrivers as this will damage the screw head and is not covered by the warranty.

No. NRS Pilot and other Pilot series knives are longer, they are designed with the NRS Pilot knife case. This case only fits the Co-Pilot and Titanium Co-Pilot. Both Co-Pilot knives have the same shape, so one case fits both.
