M-TAC compression bag
M-TAC compression bag is a nylon bag for storing and carrying a sleeping bag, clothes or other soft items. Its main job is reducing volume: compression straps squeeze the contents so there is more room left in your backpack for other gear. The compression bag comes in three sizes and two colours, Olive and Black.

Compression straps
Straps with buckles run around the bag. Once the sleeping bag is in and the straps are pulled, the bag compresses to a much smaller volume than a loosely packed sleeping bag. The buckles let you loosen and tighten the bag again in seconds, so packing at camp does not take long.
Drawstring opening
The top opening closes with a drawstring and toggle. There are no knots to tie, and the contents do not fall out even if the bag is turned upside down. The toggle keeps the cord tight even when the bag is strapped to the outside of a backpack.
Carrying and attaching
The bag has straps that make it easy to carry by hand or tie to a backpack. That way the sleeping bag travels on the outside and does not take up space inside needed for food, clothes or gear.

Is the bag completely waterproof? No. Nylon is water resistant, but it is not a dry bag. For longer exposure to water you need a dry bag.
What size should I choose for a summer sleeping bag? Summer sleeping bags compress the most, so size M is usually enough. For thicker three season models it is worth choosing L or XL.
