Orbit Fit System and universal fit
The Orbit Fit System layers several light closed cell foam sheets cut at a precise angle. The result is a flexible, pre-curved shape that wraps around the body naturally and does not need constant strap adjustment. The Every Body Design philosophy means you do not have to choose between a men's and a women's model: the vest suits everyone. The Graded Sizing system ensures a smaller person gets proportionally less buoyancy and a larger person more, so the vest does not squeeze or float up.

Pockets, adjustment and safety features
The two front pockets with YKK zippers are expandable and hold both a phone and snacks. Four attachment points (two at the front, two at the back) let you attach a whistle, a knife or a strobe light. The YKK front zipper together with two side, two shoulder and two waist straps lets you adjust the vest precisely even with wet hands. Sustainable materials and construction
The NRS Ambient PFD is made of 100% recycled materials: 420 denier ripstop nylon on the outside and 200 denier nylon on the inside. The foam is PVC free (Ethafoam) and free of PFAS chemical compounds, which makes it one of the most sustainable vests on the market. The 4 way stretch knit polyester lining is pleasant against the skin and helps manage moisture. The mid profile design spreads buoyancy evenly between front and back, so the vest sits stably and does not get in the way of paddling.
