NRS Aster Standard Single-Person Inflatable Packraft is a light, compact craft for calm rivers, lakes and trips with portages. Lightweight and durable hull
The Aster Standard tubes are made of 70D nylon with TPU coating on both sides, and the floor uses a tougher 210D nylon. There is no PVC in the construction. RF-welded seams sealed on the inside help keep the boat airtight and make it repairable.

For calm water and trips with portages

The Aster Standard has no self-bailing floor, so it suits water where little spray gets into the hull. An inflatable seat and backrest help you sit more comfortably while paddling, and the strap loops at the front and back are good for attaching light gear or a safety line.

A compact solution for travel
Rolled up, the Aster Standard takes up about 51 x 41 x 19 cm. The manufacturer's recommended combined weight of paddler and cargo is up to 113 kg, so before paddling it's important to add up the weight of all the gear you carry too.

Who is the NRS Aster Standard for?

This packraft is recommended for calm weekend outings, lake trips, light hiking-based travel and routes where paddling sections alternate with walking. For a larger paddler or a longer trip with more cargo, it's worth choosing the Aster XL. For faster water you need a self-bailing model, such as the Pulsar or Neutron.

What's included and care

The kit includes the packraft, an inflatable seat, an inflation bag, an inflation tube and a repair kit. Before use, check the valve and the airtightness. In hot, sunny weather the air pressure can rise, so it must be checked regularly, and after paddling wash the product and dry it completely.

Before your first trip it's worth trying inflating, rolling up and attaching gear at home. That way it's easier to judge on the trip how much room you need for personal items and how best to distribute the cargo.
