NRS Ion PFD is NRS's slimmest life jacket, made for paddlers who want maximum freedom of movement on the water. The side closure without a front zip reduces material at the front, and the Orbit Fit System foam panels follow the body's contours closely. Certified to EN ISO 12402-5, 50N buoyancy class.

Orbit Fit System technology
Multi-layer PVC-free Ethafoam panels are cut to the body's contours and pre-curved. The foam moves with you, doesn't restrict and doesn't ride up. This is the main reason the Ion feels slimmer than many jackets with the same buoyancy.

Side closure and 6 adjustment points
Instead of a front zip, the Ion uses a side buckle. Less material at the front, more flexibility through the hips. Six adjustment points (2 side, 2 shoulder, 2 waist) let you fit the jacket precisely to any body type.

AirMesh lining and ventilation
An inner AirMesh layer encourages air circulation and manages moisture. In hot weather the jacket does not overheat or hold moisture. The outer 420D recycled ripstop nylon is light, abrasion resistant and sustainably made.

Pocket, reflectives and extra details
The zip-close half-round front pocket fits a phone or small items. 3M reflectives keep you visible at dusk. Belt keepers let you tidy away excess straps. The jacket is compatible with the NRS Swig hydration pack.
