NRS Vertex packraft seat back

NRS Vertex packraft seat back is an adjustable back support for a more comfortable seating position and better paddling control. This NRS packraft accessory helps keep lumbar support without weighing down the packraft. Before buying, it is worth checking compatibility with your packraft and its attachment points, as different models may come with different standard equipment.

Adjustable three point system
Three point mounting lets you set the backband's tension and position to suit different heights and seating styles. The right adjustment helps you paddle comfortably for longer.

Light EVA foam construction

The one piece moulded 3D EVA design is built for support, ventilation and faster drying. The backband is compatible with the NRS Vertex Outfitting system and can be swapped with other Vertex backbands when the packraft has suitable attachment points.

Attaches to the Vertex system
Aluminium fittings help transfer the paddler's movement to the packraft more steadily. Before fitting, check that your packraft has attachment points suitable for the Vertex system.

Who is it for?

The accessory is for NRS packraft users who want extra lumbar support and the option to fine tune the seating position. It is sold separately, so it should not be considered part of the packraft's standard equipment unless the manufacturer of the specific model says otherwise. Before fitting or using it, read the manufacturer's instructions and check that the part is undamaged.

Use and care

Do not use harsh cleaners that could damage the foam surface or straps. Periodically check the condition of the straps, buckles and fittings. After use, rinse the accessory with fresh water, dry it completely and store it somewhere dry. Regular inspection helps you spot wear, damaged fittings or built up dirt in time.

This is the lightest Vertex backband option, suitable when support and low added weight matter.

Before every trip, take a few minutes to check the condition of the fittings, straps and material. This habit helps you use the accessory as intended and avoid nasty surprises on the trip.

Keep the accessory tidy and safe.
