NRS Aster XL Single-Person Inflatable Packraft is an ultralight, compact craft for calm water. The XL size gives more interior space for a larger paddler or extra cargo, yet the ready-to-paddle product weighs only 2.99 kg. It's a practical choice for trips where part of the route is on foot and you carry all the gear yourself.
Lightweight construction for calm water
The Aster XL hull is made of 70D nylon with TPU coating on both sides, and the floor uses a tougher 210D nylon with the same coating. The material contains no PVC. The overlapping RF-welded seams are additionally sealed with an inner tape, so the construction holds air well and stays repairable in trip conditions.
This model has no self-bailing floor, so it suits lakes, calm river sections and other water where little spray gets inside. An inflatable seat and backrest help you keep a more comfortable paddling position. The strap loops at the bow and stern are good for attaching a safety line and light personal gear.
More room in the XL sizeThe 245 cm long and 94 cm wide hull gives more room than the standard Aster. The manufacturer's recommended combined weight of paddler and cargo is up to 124 kg. When judging the load, count not just the person but all the gear you carry.

What's included and care
The kit includes the packraft, an inflatable seat, an inflation bag, an inflation tube and a repair kit. With long exposure to direct sunlight the air pressure can rise, so in hot conditions check the pressure periodically and let out some air if needed. After paddling we recommend rinsing the product, drying it completely and only then rolling it up.
