NRS Vertex HD reinforced packraft seat back

NRS Vertex HD reinforced packraft seat back is a reinforced adjustable backband for more lower-back comfort and support in the packraft. This NRS packraft accessory helps steady your back on longer paddles. Before buying, check compatibility with your packraft and its attachment points, as different models may come with a different base setup.

More lower-back support
The padded EVA foam backband has internal reinforcements that help it keep its shape and give firmer support. It is adjusted with a three-point system.

Comfort and durability

The Vertex HD Backband uses a one-piece molded 3D EVA construction that helps ventilation and dries faster. This model is for users who want more support than the base Vertex backband. It can be swapped with other backband models in the NRS Vertex Outfitting system.

Fit to your packraft
Before buying, check that your packraft has compatible Vertex attachment points. A properly adjusted backband can help you sit more comfortably, but it must not get in the way of a safe exit from the packraft.

Who is it for?

This accessory suits packraft users who want firmer back support on longer routes. It is sold separately, so it shouldn't be treated as part of the packraft's base kit unless the manufacturer of your specific model says otherwise. Before fitting or using it, read the manufacturer's instructions and check that the part is undamaged.

Use and care

After paddling, remove sand and dirt from the attachments. Let the backband dry before storing it so the foam and straps stay in good shape longer. After use we recommend rinsing it with fresh water, drying it fully and storing it in a dry place. Regular inspection helps you spot wear, damaged attachments or built-up dirt in time.

The Vertex HD is the right pick when extra comfort and steadier lower-back support are the priority.

Before every trip, take a few minutes to check the condition of the fittings, straps and material. This habit helps you use the accessory as intended and avoid nasty surprises on the trip.

Keep the accessory tidy and safe.
