YakAttack Complete LockNLoad mounting base: a holder foundation that doesn't turn

YakAttack Complete LockNLoad mounting base is the base to which rod holders, fish finder holders and other YakAttack accessories with a LockNLoad connector are attached on a kayak track. Unlike ordinary track bases, the LockNLoad base locks with a toothed surface, so it doesn't turn or loosen even when a rod gets a sudden strike.

Why it doesn't turn
The underside of the LockNLoad base has a toothed ring that grips the track. Once the MightyBolt is tightened, the base stays where you set it. Ordinary sliding bases slowly rotate after a few hard strikes and the holder drifts off the angle you want. The LockNLoad base locks with its toothed ring, so that does not happen.

All fastening parts included
In the box you will find the MightyBolt, a spring and the lower washer that slides into the track. Nothing else to buy.

Fits most kayak tracks
The base is made for YakAttack MightyMount and GearTrac tracks, but fits most other standard kayak tracks too, including Scotty, RAM Mounts and YakGear. FeelFree, 3 Water and Jonny Boats kayaks need a separate AAP-1012 adapter.

Adjustable right on the water
You can change the position without getting out of the kayak: loosen the bolt by hand, turn the holder to a new angle and tighten it again. This is handy when the wind direction changes or you have to move to the other side of the kayak.
