YakAttack GearTrac GT90 is a kayak track that screws onto the deck surface. It is the base the whole accessory system depends on: rod holders, fish finder screens, camera stands and phone mounts all attach to the track. A kayak track differs from a simple mounting plate in that the position of the mount can be changed along its entire length without drilling new holes in the hull.

Key features
✓ Keturi ilgiai - 10.2, 20.3, 30.5 and 40.6 cm, according to the free space on your deck
✓ Universalus profilis - fits 1.3 cm wide track hardware, so also mounts from other manufacturers
✓ Sliding position - slide the mount along the track until you find a comfortable spot
✓ Mounting kit included - stainless steel screws, nuts and washers
✓ Hole spacing 4.4 cm - evenly distributed load
✓ Made for salt water - materials chosen for the marine environment
✓ Made in the USA - Built for Life manufacturer warranty

What is in the box
The track comes with all the mounting hardware: stainless steel button head screws, nuts and washers. In practice this means you can buy the track and fit it to your kayak the same day. The only thing not included is a 2.4 mm hex key to tighten the screws.

The track sits on the deck and is screwed through the hull, so the holding force is carried by metal, not adhesive. The 4.4 cm hole spacing spreads the load evenly, so the track handles a sudden rod strike better. For an even stronger installation the manufacturer offers a separate FullBack backing plate fitted from inside the hull.

How it looks on a kayak
Once installed, the track stays low and does not get in the way of paddling. The mount slides in from the end of the track and tightens where you want it. On your next trip you can slide it a few centimetres or remove it entirely, and the track stays on the kayak. That is the main difference from an accessory bolted straight to the hull: the position is not final.

Which length to choose
The 10.2 cm track is for a single mount in a fixed spot, for example a phone by the seat. The 20.3 cm lets you slide the mount or fit two small ones. The 30.5 and 40.6 cm versions are for the side gunwales, where you want to keep several rods on one track and still leave room for a fish finder screen. Many kayaks get two different lengths: a short one at the front and a long one by the seat.
Who is the GearTrac GT90 kayak track for?
We recommend it if:
✓ You have a kayak without factory tracks and do not want to mount accessories with glue
✓ You are planning an accessory system that you will expand over time
✓ You want to change the mount position during the season without drilling new holes
✓ You will mount accessories on a boat, paddle board or trailer as well as a kayak
The track is the base, not the mount. Some YakAttack mounts connect to it directly, while others need LockNLoad track bases, which slides into the track groove. Before buying, check which group your holder belongs to: if its description says "with LockNLoad base", you do not need to buy the base separately.
