YakAttack LeaderBoard Scabbard is a sheath style holder for a fish measuring board. It solves a small but annoying problem: on a kayak the measuring board usually ends up under your feet or sticking out of the crate, and when you catch a fish you need it right away, with one hand. In the holder the board stands upright, pulls out in one motion and goes back just as fast.

The board is at hand, not under your feet
The scabbard holds the board by its lower end, so it stays upright and does not slide around the kayak. When you catch a fish you pull it out with one hand, measure and slide it back.

Mounting on the BlackPak Pro
The holder's hole pattern matches the GridLoc grid on the BlackPak Pro, so it screws straight onto the crate wall or lid with no drilling. The grid lets you choose the angle: vertical, horizontal or 45 degrees, depending on which side is easiest to reach from where you sit.

Mounting elsewhere
If you do not have a BlackPak Pro, the holder can be screwed to any flat surface: a kayak deck, a boat side or a cart. In that case you need a 3 mm drill bit for the pilot holes, and the fasteners are already in the kit. No track is needed for this holder, it mounts on a surface.

Which board it fits
The scabbard is designed for the YakAttack LeaderBoard measuring board and only that one. Compatibility with other brands' boards has not been tested. The board itself is not included and is sold separately.
