✔ Propel 701 pedal drive: forward and reverse hands-free

✔ Ready for a rear motor, transducer and fish finder
✔ 193 kg capacity, made in the USA
Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 10 LTE: a light pedal kayak for fishing
Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 10 LTE is the new-generation version of Native's most popular model, the Slayer Propel 10. It's a 305 cm long, 88 cm wide pedal fishing kayak that you can load into a car quickly and be fishing half an hour later. The hull weighs 29.5 kg, so you can lift it onto a roof rack or drop it into a pickup bed with ease.
The LTE keeps the simplicity that the Slayer Propel 10 has been valued for over a decade, but has what an angler needs today: a position for a rear motor, channels for electronics cables, a pocket for a transducer and mounting points for a fish finder. The manufacturer calls it the most advanced 10 foot fishing kayak on the market.

Key advantages of the Slayer Propel 10 LTE
✓ Propel 701 pedal drive: switches instantly from forward to reverse
✓ Springblade rudder system: holds a straight course and turns quickly
✓ Ready for a rear motor and for foot-controlled motors
✓ Electronics integration: transducer pocket, cable channels, PowerLink plate
✓ Large front hatch with new twist locks
✓ Groove Track rail around the whole kayak for mounting accessories
✓ Three rod holders: one facing forward, two facing back
✓ Light hull: 29.5 kg without the drive and seat

Propel drive and Springblade rudder
The Propel 701 drive lets you pedal forward and backward, so you can stop the kayak or pull away from an obstacle without letting go of the rod. The new Springblade rudder is controlled by a handle next to the seat: the kayak holds its course well and at the same time turns quickly in narrow streams or among reeds.

Ready for a motor and electronics
At the rear there is a mount for a Power-Pole anchor or a rear electric motor, and the motor can be controlled with your feet. At the front there is a pocket for the transducer, channels for cables and quick mounting spots for a fish finder and a Captain's Bridge electronics console. You connect everything without drilling.

A well thought out deck layout
A large front hatch with twist locks, a closable storage box with a cup holder, a rear compartment with bungee cord and Omni hooks. The paddle clips to the side with a Taco holder, and the non-slip deck surface lets you stand comfortably. There are carry handles on both sides and at the rear, and a protective plate guards the bottom.
Propel pedal drive
Propel is a pedal drive with a propeller developed by Native. Pedalling forward moves the kayak forward, and pedalling backward instantly reverses it, with no switching. This is very handy while fishing: you can back away from a snagged lure, hold in a current or move closer to a fish while your hands stay free for the rod.
The drive slots into a well in the middle of the kayak and is easy to remove. With the drive removed, the kayak is easier to carry and transport, and in the shallows or before stepping onto the shore you can pull it up so the propeller doesn't touch the bottom. After paddling at sea, rinsing the drive with fresh water is recommended.
Weight and capacity
The hull itself weighs 29.5 kg, and about 38.6 kg with the drive and seat fitted. Capacity is 193 kg. That means a 90 kg angler with a box of lures, a cooler bag and rods has a large margin, while the kayak stays stable and handles well.

Who is the Slayer Propel 10 LTE for?
For anglers who want a pedal kayak but don't have the room or the strength for a heavy 60 kg hull. Good for lakes, rivers and calm bays, for one angler with all their gear. If you plan to add a fish finder or rear motor later, the LTE is already prepared for it.
How does it differ from other Slayer models? The LTE is the lightest pedal Native kayak: a 29.5 kg hull versus 34 kg for the Slayer Propel 10 MAX. The MAX has the PivotPro swivel seat and a battery position in the front hatch, and the LTE is the pick when low weight and simplicity matter most. If you need a longer, faster hull, choose the Slayer Propel MAX 12.5.
