Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 10 MAX: a full-size fishing kayak in a 10 foot hull
Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 10 MAX is the most compact and most fishing-focused Native kayak. A 10 foot hull holds everything you'd normally find only on bigger models: the Propel pedal drive, the SpringBlade rudder, the new PivotPro swivel seat and preparation for electronics and a motor.
The latest version has an updated rear position for a motor, a front hatch with room for a battery and internal cable channels, and the motor can be controlled with your feet using the Wizard system. The kayak is easy to transport but equipped like a full fishing platform.

Key advantages of the Slayer Propel 10 MAX
✓ PivotPro swivel seat: comfortable for long fishing, gear within easy reach
✓ Propel 701 pedal drive with forward and reverse motion
✓ Electronics-ready front hatch: room for a battery, internal cables for the transducer
✓ Transducer plate in the hull: nothing to drill
✓ Three replaceable switch plates for electronics
✓ Reinforced rear position for a motor or Power-Pole anchor, with an internal steering line
✓ Three rod holders and two horizontal rod positions
✓ Non-slip standing pads and Groove Track rails
Slayer Propel 10 MAX design

PivotPro seat
The new PivotPro seat swivels, so you can turn to the side to cast or reach gear behind you without leaving a comfortable position. The seat is adjustable and makes casting more precise, and your back tires less over a long day on the water. It can also be retrofitted to most older Slayer Propel models.

Electronics without drilling
The front hatch has room for a battery, and transducer cables run inside the hull straight from the transducer plate built into the bottom. Three replaceable switch plates let you change the electronics layout without new holes in the hull. At the rear there is a reinforced position for a motor with an internal steering cable.

For gear and rods
On both sides of the seat there is room for lure boxes, two horizontal rod positions, and two rear-facing and one forward-facing rod holder. The paddle splits and clips to the side. Groove Track rails suit accessories and the Sidekick wheel system.
Propel pedal drive
Propel is a pedal drive with a propeller developed by Native. Pedalling forward moves the kayak forward, and pedalling backward instantly reverses it, with no switching. This is very handy while fishing: you can back away from a snagged lure, hold in a current or move closer to a fish while your hands stay free for the rod.
The drive slots into a well in the middle of the kayak and is easy to remove. With the drive removed, the kayak is easier to carry and transport, and in the shallows or before stepping onto the shore you can pull it up so the propeller doesn't touch the bottom. After paddling at sea, rinsing the drive with fresh water is recommended.
Weight and capacity
The hull weighs 34 kg, and about 44 kg complete with the drive and seat. Capacity is 181 kg: one angler with a battery, fish finder and all gear fits with a margin. A 10 foot length means the kayak fits in a pickup bed or on a small trailer.

Who is the Slayer Propel 10 MAX for?
For anglers who want a fully equipped pedal kayak with a fish finder and motor but value a compact size. Good for lakes, rivers and harbours where manoeuvrability matters. If the LTE is too basic for you and the TitanX too big, the MAX 10 sits between them.
How does it differ from other Slayer models? Compared with the Slayer Propel 10 LTE, the MAX 10 has the swivelling PivotPro seat, a battery position with internal cables and a reinforced rear position for a motor, but weighs about 4.5 kg more. The Slayer Propel MAX 12.5 is longer, faster and carries more, but is harder to transport.
