M-TAC Type 12 Scandinavian Stonewash folding knife, black / sand, 8.5 cm blade

M-TAC Type 12 Scandinavian Stonewash folding knife is made for everyday household, camping and travel tasks, when you need a compact, reliable and easy to reach cutting tool. The 8.5 cm blade and thoughtful design help you control the cut, and the black and sand finish gives the model a clearly recognisable look.

M-TAC Type 12 Scandinavian Stonewash blade and cutting performance

The blade is made of D2 steel. The manufacturer's choice of material balances hardness, wear resistance and practical care, so the knife suits rope, packaging, small food preparation tasks and other lawful everyday use. The blade is 2.5 mm thick, so it is strong enough for controlled work, yet the knife stays compact.

Comfortable handle and secure locking

The handle is made from G10. It is chosen so you can keep a stable grip while holding the knife and control the blade precisely. The open blade is held by a Liner Lock mechanism. Before each use, make sure the lock has fully engaged, and after use wipe the blade, dry it and fold it away safely.

Who is this folding knife for?

We recommend this model for hiking, camping, fishing, the car, a toolbox and everyday household jobs. The main difference between a folding model and a fixed blade tool is the smaller size for carrying and the ability to safely hide the blade in the handle. The pocket clip holds the knife securely and keeps it within easy reach.

Safe use and care

Use the knife only for its intended purpose, never cut towards yourself and keep it out of the reach of children. The tool is not made for prying, hammering or other loads the cutting blade is not designed for. Periodically check the pivot screw, the lock and the cutting edge. A dry, clean blade will stay in good condition longer, and a regularly maintained mechanism will run more smoothly.
