The NRS Akamai 145 is a 440 cm two person inflatable kayak that you can reconfigure for solo paddling in a few minutes. It weighs 11.2 kg and carries up to 272 kg.
✔ PVC free hull: nylon with a double TPU coating is light, rolls up compactly and is easy to repair
✔ 7.6 cm thick drop stitch floor: as stiff as a hard shell kayak, so the kayak tracks straighter and more stably
✔ Two seats and two velcro rails: paddle as a pair, or move the seat and paddle solo
✔ Rolled up only 48 x 64 x 25 cm: fits in a car boot, campervan or travel luggage
NRS Akamai 145: the inflatable kayak you will always have with you

NRS Akamai 145 construction and equipment

Two adjustable seats
Two ultra light inflatable seats adjust forwards and backwards, so each paddler finds a comfortable position and the kayak stays balanced. The seats attach to light aluminium anchor points.

From two person to solo
The floor has two parallel velcro rails. The seats and foot braces can be moved to a different position on them, so the Akamai 145 turns into a spacious solo kayak with room for gear in a few minutes.

Foot brace adjustable to your height
The foam foot brace attaches with velcro to parallel rails. You can quickly move it to suit the paddler's height, and a firm brace for your feet lets you paddle more efficiently and tire less.

Spray covers at the front and rear
Under the front and rear spray covers you can stow a jacket, dry bag or snacks. If waves wash over the kayak, your gear stays protected, and handles at both ends make it easier to carry to the water.

Bottle holder in front of the seat
A bottle holder in front of the seat keeps water always within reach. At the rear there is a drain port: after you land, the kayak drains quickly and packs away sooner.

QuickClick fin and keel
The QuickClick system lets you fit, change or remove the fin in seconds to suit the water conditions. The low 1.3 cm keel at the bow also helps the kayak hold its course.

What does a 272 kg load capacity mean?
NRS uses load capacity to mean the recommended maximum weight of people and cargo, and the weight of the kayak is not included. For the Akamai 145 that is 272 kg. For example, two paddlers of 85 kg each plus 30 kg of gear make 200 kg, which leaves a large margin. Paddling solo with 85 kg and 20 kg of gear, the load is 105 kg.
What is included
- 2 inflatable seats
- 2 adjustable foot braces
- NRS Super 2 pump
- All-Water fin
- Repair kit
- Nylon carry and compression strap
Important: if the kayak is left in the sun and heat for a long time, the air pressure in the tubes rises. In such conditions release some air so you do not overstress the seams.

✓ Couples and friends who want to paddle in one kayak
✓ Family trips on a river or lake
✓ Solo paddlers who need a lot of room for gear

The NRS Akamai 145 combines the paddling qualities of a hard shell kayak with the convenience of an inflatable: roll it up, put it in the boot and paddle where another kayak could not go.
