Wilderness Systems RECON 120 HD ACES

Wilderness Systems RECON 120 HD ACES: a heavy duty fishing platform for maximum load

The RECON 120 HD ACES is the heavy duty version of the RECON: the same stable 371 cm x 97 cm hull, but with an increased load capacity of 181 kg. The HD (Heavy Duty) version is for heavier anglers or those who carry a lot of extra gear: fish finders, batteries, cooler boxes and a full day's fishing kit.

The difference from the standard RECON 120 ACES is a reinforced hull and an optimised waterline that handles a higher load better without losing stability. When the standard model reaches its limit, the HD version still performs optimally.

Key features

✔ 181 kg capacity 22 kg more than the standard RECON 120. A heavier angler plus full gear is still stable and efficient.

✔ 97 cm platform The same wide, stable deck as on the standard RECON. You can stand and fish from a higher position.

✔ ACES raised seat A sliding seat with adjustable height. It shifts the centre of gravity depending on the load.

✔ HD reinforced hull Stronger polyethylene, optimised for a higher load. Durable even in intensive use.

✔ SlideTrax system A full track system for accessories: rods, fish finders, GPS, cameras, all with no drilling.

✔ Roomy tankwell and storage Enough room for a whole day's fishing gear and a large cooler box.

RECON 120 ar RECON 120 HD?

If you weigh up to 90 kg and do not plan to carry much extra gear, the standard RECON 120 ACES is enough. If you weigh over 90 kg or regularly carry a fish finder with a battery, a big cooler box and a full fishing arsenal, the HD version makes sure the kayak performs optimally even fully loaded.

Who it's for

For heavier anglers (90–120 kg) and those who carry a lot of gear. Lakes, coasts, ponds. Ideal for serious kayak anglers with full electronics and long fishing days.
