Construction and details

Front cargo area
At the front, a bungee cord is attached to four D-rings. A dry bag, water bottle or clothes fit under it. At the very tip of the nose there is a handle for pulling the board up onto the shore.

Valve and rear handle
At the tail there is a high pressure valve and a handle with metal rings for attaching the safety leash. The deck has a non-slip embossed EVA pad, so your feet hold firmly even when wet.

Double layer Drop-Stitch hull

Inside the board, threads connect the top and bottom layers, so it keeps a flat shape when inflated. The double PVC layer (1.5 mm) makes the hull stiffer and more impact resistant. The recommended maximum pressure is 27 PSI (1.86 bar).

Deluxe seat for kayak mode

The seat attaches to the board's D-rings. With it you can paddle sitting down, rest on a longer outing or take a child who cannot stand on the board yet. Remove the seat and the board becomes a regular SUP board again.

Stability and handling on the water

The long 350 cm hull glides smoothly and tracks well, and the 90 cm width gives plenty of side stability. The manufacturer designs the King Lion for paddling together with a friend or family member. Its catalogue states a recommended paddler weight of up to 130 kg and a maximum capacity of 270 kg. It is most comfortable for one adult or an adult with a child.
