How the SharpShooter camera mount works

Pistol grip with two ball joints
The grip has a 25 mm ball socket at the top and at the bottom. The lower one connects to the track, the upper one holds a phone or camera. The grip works like a joystick: grab it, tilt it and the camera stays in that position. The rubber grips hold well even in wet hands, so you can change the angle while paddling.

RotoGrip phone holder
Two adjustable rubber wheels hold the phone firmly, and you can put it in and take it out with one hand. The frame width is set by a spring mechanism: you pull the ball and turn it one way or the other. Fits most modern phones from 7 to 9.2 cm wide and 0.8 to 1.6 cm thick.

Strap and cable so the phone does not fall
The set includes a universal silicone strap that wraps around the phone with or without a case and does not block the camera lens. A coiled steel cable attaches to it: 23 cm coiled, stretched up to 122 cm. The carabiner clips to the holder frame. Even if the phone slipped out, it would stay hanging instead of sinking.

Action Camera Ball for an action camera
Instead of the phone holder, the Action Camera Ball with a standard action camera mount goes on the upper ball. Fits GoPro, DJI and other compatible cameras. You can swap the phone for a camera right on the water, no tools needed.

Mounting to the kayak track
The mount fits with a MightyBolt, a threaded knob and a universal track adapter with a 25 mm ball. It suits all YakAttack GearTrac and MightyMount tracks and most factory kayak tracks. Installation takes less than a minute and needs no tools.

Modular YakAttack system
The SharpShooter can also be used without the track adapter. Remove the lower ball and put the grip on the upper ball of your existing BoomStick Pro, PanFish Pro or PanFish Portrait Pro mount's top ball. This gives a tall camera pole precise joystick control, and you do not need to buy a new system.
