YakAttack BlackPak Pro fishing crate

YakAttack BlackPak Pro: a modular fishing crate for kayaks

YakAttack BlackPak Pro is a completely redesigned hardshell fishing crate for kayaks, developed after more than a year of research and design work. The new generation BlackPak Pro has a hinged lid, TetherTube rod holders and the GridLoc mounting system.

TetherTube rod holders
Includes 3 to 6 TetherTube holders (depending on the size you choose) with built in leash and lanyard attachment points. Double hooks let you attach to an anchor point or directly to the rod handles, and a three position standoff pad lets you change the vertical height. Rods stay secure even when the waves get up.

Hinged lid with CatchLatch closure
Adjustable hinges let the lid swing freely or lock in any position, and built in stops prevent it from folding too far back. Rubber dampers absorb noise, and the CatchLatch closure gives a simple but reliable lid lock. The crate is optimised for Plano 3600 and 3700 series tackle boxes.

GridLoc 2D mounting system
The GridLoc mounting system gives you lots of attachment points both outside and inside. The GridLoc surface built into every panel lets you fit dividers, holders, drawers and other accessories with no extra tools. Rubber feet dampen vibration and noise, and OmniHooks corner holders (4 included) give you extra mounting options.

Body and materials

The crate is moulded from UV stabilised polymers, so it will stand up even to harsh marine conditions. Rigid GridLoc panel surfaces with supporting frame ribs give great strength at low weight. Interlock joints let you assemble the body quickly: press the corners together and screw in the stainless steel bolts.

Available sizes

The BlackPak Pro comes in three sizes:

• 33 x 33 cm: the most compact, 3 TetherTube holders, weight 3.7 kg

• 33 x 41 cm: medium, 4 TetherTube holders, weight 4.2 kg

• 41 x 41 cm: the largest, 6 TetherTube holders, weight 5.2 kg
