M-TAC Mission Pack Elite Hex 25 l tactical backpack

M-TAC Mission Pack Elite Hex 25 l tactical backpack

M-TAC Mission Pack Elite Hex 25 l tactical backpack is a 25 litre tactical backpack that uses top class materials and hardware. It is the premium version of the Mission Pack, with the same dependable design but made of Cordura Hex 1000D, one of the toughest fabrics in the tactical industry.

Cordura Hex 1000D: what it is and why it matters

Cordura is a registered trademark that has become a standard in military and tactical gear. The Hex version uses a hexagonal weave that gives the material extra structural strength compared with a standard weave. 1000D denotes the fabric's density in denier units. In practice this means the backpack surface is very resistant to abrasion, cuts and wear. Even under intensive use, Cordura Hex 1000D keeps its structure and appearance noticeably longer than standard polyester or even plain nylon.

Premium hardware

The Elite Hex version uses YKK zippers and buckles and adjusters from WJ. YKK is a recognised maker of top quality zippers, and WJ hardware makes sure all buckles, adjusters and fasteners work smoothly and reliably. When a backpack is made from materials of this level, the hardware has to meet the same standard, and on the Elite Hex model it does.

Two material construction

The backpack combines Cordura Hex 1000D with standard Cordura 1000D. The Hex fabric is used in the zones that take the most load and friction, while standard Cordura 1000D covers the rest. This combination optimises weight (1800 g) without losing durability where it matters most.

Dimensions and purpose

The backpack dimensions (49x29x31 cm) and the 25 litre capacity are identical to the standard Mission Pack version. The internal organisation system lets you pack everyday items, gear and documents neatly. The difference is not in size but in materials and durability.

The M-TAC Mission Pack Elite Hex is for those who want a backpack that will last for years, not months. If you are looking for one backpack for the long term and budget is not a concern, the Elite Hex is a level you should not need to replace.
