Construction and details
Flip-down front pocket
The large zippered pocket folds down. Inside there are organiser slots so small items don't get mixed up. Next to it are internal hook-and-loop pockets for a radio or GPS with an antenna port.
Hand-warmer pocket
The pocket made of four-way stretch fabric is good for warming cold hands. You can quickly stuff gloves or a hat in it when you don't need them.
Internal harness and ventilation
Inside the vest runs a continuous, interconnected strap system that keeps the vest in place. The lower back has an AirMesh lining, so your back sweats less on a hot day. The silicone-coated inner waistband keeps the vest from riding up.
Fewer snag points
Strap ends are tucked away, and there is a lash tab on the front. The vest catches less on lines and kayak gear when you climb into a boat. Side entry with a buckle and 6 adjustment straps (2 side, 2 shoulder, 2 waist) let you fit it precisely. The vest is compatible with the NRS Swig hydration pack.
Sizes and certification
The Ninja OS is certified to CE EN ISO 12402-5 (50 N class). Choose the size by chest circumference, then fine-tune with the straps.
