NRS Yak Yak: a lightweight kayak cart for sand

NRS Yak Yak is a kayak cart that carries a kayak, canoe or SUP board to the water and saves your back. The anodized aluminum frame is 30% lighter than regular carts, doesn't rust and suits salt water. The cart weighs 2 kg and takes up only 58 x 25 x 9 cm when folded.

NRS Yak Yak construction

Foam pads
The kayak rests on four soft foam pads that protect the hull from scratches. The pads suit plastic and inflatable kayaks and SUP boards alike.

Wheels for sand and asphalt
Rubber wraps a sturdy plastic wheel, so you roll smoothly on hard surfaces. The 8 cm wide rim on the 23 cm wheel grips well in soft sand, and the Idaho tread pattern leaves a distinctive track. The wheels are bearing-free and come off easily.

Stand for loading
The stand holds the cart upright while you lift the kayak on, and it folds back out of the way as you roll. All the hardware is corrosion resistant.

Fits in the kayak hatch
With the wheels off, the compact Yak Yak fits into most kayak hatches. That way you can take the cart along and use it when you land somewhere else.
