Compact, stable hull The 200 cm long, 98 cm wide design balances easy transport with stability on the water. The one piece rotomoulded polyethylene hull withstands contact with rocks and shallows. A 38 cm height keeps the deck dry in small waves, and 2 scupper holes with plugs let you drain the deck quickly after paddling.

Rear storage box: the heart of a motor kayak The roomy 63.9 x 28.4 x 50 cm storage box holds a 12V battery (up to 35 Ah), the motor control unit and extra gear. The lid protects the contents from water and spray. Built in cable routing lets you connect an electric motor without drilling the deck.

Low seat with an adjustable backrest The included low seat gives a low center of gravity and maximum stability in waves or wind. The adjustable backrest lets you set the position to your height. An ideal choice for long-distance paddling and for beginners. A high seat with better visibility and comfort is sold separately.

Ready for an electric motor The Galaxy Ranger kayak is designed with built in mounting points for an electric motor. The motor mount (sold separately) fits to the stern and connects to the battery in the storage box. Suitable for 12V electric motors up to 55 lbs thrust.

Why do load zones matter?

The kayak's maximum load capacity is 150 kg, but it performs best with a load of 95–125 kg (user + motor + battery + gear). The base kayak weight is 21.8 kg.

Green zone (95-125 kg): User 80 kg + battery 7 kg + motor 4 kg + gear 10 kg = 101 kg – ideal balance, best stability, optimal speed.

Blue zone (below 95 kg): User 60 kg + battery 7 kg + motor 4 kg + gear 5 kg = 76 kg – the kayak sits high and is less stable in wind, but handling is easy.

Red zone (125-150 kg): User 100 kg + battery 7 kg + motor 4 kg + gear 25 kg = 136 kg – borderline zone, manoeuvrability drops, avoid big waves.

IMPORTANT: Recommended maximum user weight (without motor and gear): up to 95 kg.
