Hull design and stability
The Galaxy Strike motor kayak stands out with an ultra-compact 200 cm length and a record 100 cm width. It's the shortest motor kayak in the Galaxy range, yet its width beats even the longer models. 100 cm of width gives maximum stability even in waves or wind, so you can stand and fish freely. Its compact size means it fits in a standard saloon car boot with the rear seats folded down.

Built-in transport wheels
The wheels are built into the bottom of the hull, so you can push the kayak like a trolley from the car to the water. Especially handy if you're on your own, when the water is far from the parking spot, or when the kayak is loaded with a heavy battery and gear. With wheels, the 29 kg weight almost disappears: just lift the stern and push.

Dual motor mounting
The Galaxy Strike offers two motor mounting options. Bow mount gives more precise control and better visibility, ideal for shallow water. Stern mount (traditional) gives better speed and is the cheaper option. Both work with 12V electric motors (sold separately).

Rear battery box
The rear box with locking straps keeps the battery firmly in place even in waves or sharp turns. It holds a 12V battery (up to 50 Ah), the motor controller and extra gear. The top lid protects against spray.

Why do load zones matter?

The Galaxy Strike's maximum capacity is 250 kg (paddler + gear + battery + motor), with optimal performance at a load of 120–165 kg . Base kayak weight: 29 kg.

Green zone (120-165 kg): Paddler 95 kg + 50Ah battery (15 kg) + motor (5 kg) + gear 15 kg = 130 kg: ideal balance, best stability, optimal speed with the motor.

Blue zone (below 120 kg): Paddler 70 kg + 35Ah battery (10 kg) + motor (5 kg) + gear 10 kg = 95 kg: too light, the kayak may be less stable in wind and slower with the motor.

Red zone (165-250 kg): Paddler 130 kg + 100Ah battery (30 kg) + motor (5 kg) + gear 30 kg = 195 kg: borderline zone, safe but less manoeuvrable, sits deeper and is slower.

IMPORTANT: When planning your load, don't forget the weight of the battery and motor (typically 15-25 kg). For optimal performance the total load should not exceed 165 kg.
