NRS Clean SUP Board (290 cm)

NRS Clean is an inflatable river SUP board for those who paddle rapids, waves and fast water. It is 290 cm long, 91 cm wide, 13 cm thick and weighs 10.4 kg. Construction and details

IST Concave: water flows towards the fin

Three chambers along the rails form a concave. It channels water back towards the fin, so the flow under the board is cleaner and paddling is quieter and more efficient. Double side rails protect the board from abrasion and hits on rocks.

Pressure and Bravo valve

The main chamber inflates to 20 PSI (1.38 bar), so the board is very stiff. The side chambers need just 5 PSI (0.34 bar). The Bravo valve is smaller than usual, so the deflated board rolls up tighter.

Deck and attachment points

The EVA foam deck has cut grooves that grip your feet even when wet. At the tail there is a separate EVA kick pad for the back foot. A day bag can be secured at the nose, and two stainless steel D-rings are for a throw bag (at the nose) and a safety leash (at the tail).

Fins that do not break

The removable fins are made of nylon reinforced plastic. When they hit a rock, they absorb the impact and do not break. The package includes two universal All-Water fins and two Whitewater river fins.

How does the NRS Clean behave on a river?

The Clean is built for river currents. The rockered nose lets the board climb over a wave, and the 91 cm width and 251 L volume give stability when the water is boiling underfoot. The manufacturer recommends this size for a paddler with gear from 45 to 95 kg.

NRS also makes a longer Clean 110 version (335 cm, 350 L) for multi-day river trips. This listing is for the 290 cm version (Clean 96).

Usage tip

In sun and heat the air pressure inside the board rises. The manufacturer advises releasing some air or fully deflating the board in these conditions, so the seams are not damaged.
