Amber is one of the most popular budget SUP brands in Lithuania. Prices start at 139 EUR for a complete set with a paddle, pump and backpack. That makes Amber an attractive choice for beginners and anyone who wants to try paddling without a big budget. Amber offers the budget LITE and PRO lines, while WildSup is a separate Lithuanian premium paddle board brand with unique designs.

What are the Amber paddle board lines?
In the VAKA Sport shop you will find four Amber paddle board lines, each made for a different budget and needs:
Amber LITE is the main budget line, priced from 139 to 229 EUR. Models range from 285 to 381 cm long. Every set includes a paddle, pump and bag. Some models come in a WS (Water Seat) version with an attachable seat that lets you paddle sitting down, like on a kayak.
Amber PRO (from 329.99 to 340 EUR) is the mid range line with better materials and a stiffer build. Two models: Bee 10.6 and Red Queen 10.6.
Tidal King (269.99 EUR) is a separate Amber sub brand with the Barcelona 10.6 model. An attractive design and slightly better equipment than the LITE series.
WildSup (from 799 to 1 090.99 EUR) is the premium Amber line with higher grade materials, better equipment and a longer warranty. Five models from 10.6 to 12.9 feet, including the Kangaroo tandem model for two paddlers.
Amber LITE series: which model to choose?
The LITE series has nine models. They differ in length, width and whether a seat is included. Here is how to make sense of them:
Amber COLT 10.6 is one of the most affordable models in the whole range. 320 cm long, suitable for paddlers up to 90 kg. A good first choice for anyone who just wants to try paddling. The version with a seat lets you paddle both standing and sitting.
Amber ACE 10.0 Lite is the shortest model (305 cm). Compact, light and easy to transport. Suits smaller and lighter paddlers.
Amber WAVE 10.8 Lite is a versatile model, 330 cm long. Slightly longer than the COLT, so it tracks better and suits heavier paddlers.
Amber FACTOR 11.5 Lite is great value for its length: a 350 cm board that stays at LITE series prices. A longer hull means better glide and stability. There is also a version with a seat.
Amber FOX 12.1 Lite is the longest touring style board in the LITE series. Its 376 cm length works well for longer trips and heavier paddlers (up to 120+ kg). There is also a version with a seat.
Amber PRIME 12.6 Lite is the longest board in the LITE series (381 cm). Made for those who value speed and efficient glide. Suits longer distances.
Amber PRO and Tidal King: who is the mid range for?
If the LITE series feels too basic but WildSup too expensive, there are three models in between:
Tidal King Barcelona 10.6 stands out for its design and slightly better equipment. A 10.6 foot all round model for everyday paddling.
Amber Bee 10.6 PRO and Amber Red Queen 10.6 PRO are PRO series models with thicker PVC layers and better stiffness. If you plan to paddle often and want your board to last longer, the PRO series is worth the extra investment.
WildSup: premium paddle boards designed in Lithuania
WildSup is a premium SUP brand developed in Lithuania, with unique wild animal designs and 27 PSI stiffness. The boards are made for those who want top quality at an attractive price.
WildSup Black Moose 10.6 is a compact all round model. Royal Panda 11.3 is slightly longer and more stable. King Lion 11.5 and Howling Wolf 12.3 are touring models for longer distances.
WildSup Kangaroo Tandem 12.9 is the only tandem board in the WildSup range. 393 cm long and very wide, it suits two adults or an adult with a child. A great choice for families.
How does Amber compare with other brands?
The Amber LITE series is one of the cheapest options on the Lithuanian market. A complete set costs from 139 to 229 EUR. For comparison, most other brands' beginner models cost noticeably more.
What do you give up with a cheaper model? Usually: thinner PVC layers (less scratch resistant), a simpler pump (more pumping time), a basic aluminium paddle (heavier than carbon, and a lighter paddle can be bought separately) and fewer D rings for securing gear. But if you paddle a few times a season on a calm lake, you will hardly notice these differences.
The WildSup line already competes on quality with premium Aquatone and Aztron models, while keeping a somewhat lower price. You can compare the whole WildSup range in one place.
An alternative: JBAY.ZONE paddle boards
If Amber models do not meet your expectations, or you are looking for a board with a heat welded rail and Dual Layer Fusion construction, we recommend taking a look at JBAY.ZONE paddle boards. Kame K260 is the closest alternative to Amber, while the Comet J3 with 2LF Fusion technology and a fibreglass paddle is a step up in both quality and performance.
Frequently asked questions
Safety on the water
Even on a paddle boards we recommend wearing a life jacket, especially when paddling far from shore or on moving water. Lightweight WALLYS buoyancy aids do not restrict movement and are made for paddling. Read more: life jacket comparison.
Are Amber paddle boards suitable for heavier people?
The shorter LITE models (ACE 10.0, COLT 10.6) suit paddlers up to 85 to 95 kg. If you weigh more, choose the longer models: FACTOR 11.5 (up to 110 kg), FOX 12.1 or PRIME 12.6 (up to 120+ kg). WildSup models, thanks to their better construction, will handle even higher weights.
Is it worth paying more for PRO or WildSup?
If you paddle a few times a summer, the LITE series is perfectly adequate. If you paddle regularly (several times a week), the PRO series pays off through better stiffness and durability. WildSup is worth it if you paddle often, want better equipment and are planning longer trips.
What do I get in an Amber set?
All Amber models are sold as complete sets. A LITE set usually includes: an inflatable paddle board, an adjustable aluminium paddle, a hand pump, a safety leash, a carry backpack and a repair kit. PRO and WildSup sets may also include better paddles and a double action pump. You will find anything missing in our paddle board accessories section.
