Bonafide Sideline fishing backpack

Bonafide Sideline fishing backpack is a fishing tackle backpack made for a whole day by the water. It comes with three sealed 3600-size boxes, so lures stay organized and dry, and the pack itself is made to be carried on foot along the shore, into a boat or on a kayak deck.

Key features

• Three 3600 boxes included - sealed, with orange latches and a gasket
• Rigid internal frame - the pack stands on its own and doesn't collapse when filled
• Water-repellent fabric - protection from rain and spray
• Rod holder - the rod stays clipped to the pack
• Pliers pocket - the tool is at hand, no rummaging
• Side pockets that don't snag hooks - a smooth inner surface
• Bottle pocket and rubber handle for one-handed carrying
• Magnetic closure and rubber zip pulls
• Chest and waist straps, a breathable back panel

Construction and carrying

Carrying system
On the back there are soft adjustable shoulder straps, plus chest and waist straps. A pack full of boxes weighs several kilograms, so the waist strap moves part of the weight from your shoulders to your hips, and you feel that after the first kilometer along the shore. The back panel is breathable, with channels for air, so your back sweats less on a warm day.

Three sealed 3600 boxes
The three boxes in the kit are standard 3600 size, with a gasket and orange latches. They slide into the pack one above the other and stay in place, so when you open the pack you can see what is where. Sealing matters not just against rain: hooks and spinners stop rusting when water can't get into the box.

Side pockets and rod holder
On the sides are mesh and closed pockets for small items, a bottle and pliers. The pocket interiors are smooth, so hooks don't snag on them. The integrated rod holder lets you clip the rod to the pack while you retie a lure or walk to another spot, leaving both hands free.

Details that hold up
The fabric is water resistant, and the zips have rubber pull tabs you can grab with wet fingers or gloves. The main pocket closes with a magnetic closure, so it opens with one hand. On top is a rubber handle for easily lifting the pack out of a boat or a car trunk.

Who is the Bonafide Sideline pack for?

The pack is for anglers who move: those who walk along the shore and change spots, those who paddle a kayak where space for gear is limited, and those who carry gear by car and want everything in one place.

The main difference from an ordinary fishing bag is the internal frame and carrying system. A bag set down on a deck tips over and spills, while this pack stands on its own. An alternative in our range is the Galaxy Kayaks Tackle Bag with 4 boxes - it is roomier, but without the integrated rod holder and chest strap.

The pack is sold in a camouflage color. When dirty, it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, and the boxes rinsed with fresh water and dried open.
