NuCanoe transom motor plate — a dependable motor mount for your kayak

NuCanoe stern motor plate #7100 is the essential component for mounting an outboard motor on any NuCanoe kayak. This 6 mm thick Marine Starboard (HDPE) plate attaches through the standard transom opening and forms a stable base for the motor bracket. Together with the matching motor bracket model, it forms a complete motor mounting system for fishing, hunting or longer trips on the water.

SpinGrip locking system
The NuCanoe motor plate is locked in place with a patented SpinGrip knob. Installation takes only a few seconds: slide the plate into the transom opening and turn the knob. No extra tools or bolts are needed. When you do not need the motor, the plate comes off quickly and the transom opening can be closed with a plug (NuCanoe #7301).

Mounting and compatibility
The plate is compatible with all NuCanoe kayak models: Flint, U10, Unlimited, Unlimited MAX, Frontier 12, F10 and Pursuit. It fits the standard transom opening that every NuCanoe kayak has. A lip on the inner side of the plate keeps the motor bracket from slipping, and the grip pads on both sides give a firm hold even with wet hands.

Marine Starboard material
The plate is made of Marine Starboard, a marine grade HDPE polyethylene that resists UV, salt water, corrosion and mechanical wear. The material does not chip, crack or fade even after long outdoor use. It is the same material widely used in boat interiors and the marine industry.
