YakAttack Leverage Landing Net (51 x 53 cm)

YakAttack Leverage Landing Net is a kayak fishing landing net with a 51 x 53 cm hoop and 137 cm overall length. The main difference from an ordinary net is the forearm brace: the handle rests on your forearm, so you can handle the net with one hand while holding the rod with the other. In a kayak, where nobody is there to help, that is essential.

Dilbio laikiklis
The end of the handle has an open cradle that your forearm rests in. The leverage shifts from the wrist to the elbow, so you can lift the net with a fish using one hand and aim it precisely. That is why a huge hoop is not needed: you reach the fish accurately instead of fumbling.

In the updated version the hinge has a locking latch. Previously the net could fold if the hoop was knocked by accident, now it folds only when you press the orange button. When folded the net lies parallel to the hoop and does not snag in the kayak.

The net mesh is fully rubber, so it does not damage the fish's slime coat and hooks do not tangle the way they do in ordinary mesh. For released fish that means a better chance of survival, and for the angler less time spent untangling lures.

The end of the handle has a foam covered extension that fits into a surface mount or flush mount rod holder. The net is stored upright, under your arm, not lying on the deck where it can be kicked overboard.

Who is the Leverage Landing Net 51 x 53 cm for?

We recommend it if:

✓ You fish from a kayak alone and need to land the fish with one hand

✓ You want a net that takes no deck space when folded

✓ You release fish and want mesh that will not harm them

✓ You want a wider hoop than the narrower Leverage Landing Net version

The Leverage Landing Net is one of the YakAttack products that made the brand well known in kayak fishing. A narrower hoop version is also in our catalogue.
