Construction and details

Universal sail mount

The board has a universal sail mount compatible with a mast base with an M8 thread. The manufacturer states that sails up to 3 m² fit. On a calm day you paddle, and when the wind picks up you attach the sail and sail it like a windsurf board.

Four fins and a daggerboard

The system consists of a centre Slide fin, two removable side Click fins and a centre Slide daggerboard. Together they help you hold a precise course, and when sailing they reduce sideways drift. The side fins clip on and off without tools.

Kickpad, deck and handles

At the tail there is a kickpad, a raised foot brace that gives better control of the board and allows more dynamic manoeuvres. The rest of the deck has a non-slip diamond grooved pad, and handles at the front and back help you carry the board.

2LF Fusion and RRT 2.0

A second PVC layer is heat fused to the main PVC laminated Drop-Stitch fabric, without glue. The rail is welded from three layers, so the board can be inflated to 18-20 PSI (1.24-1.37 bar). The board has one air chamber and a high pressure valve with a bayonet connection.

Control when paddling and sailing

The manufacturer describes the WJ2 as a very balanced board: it glides well, and its stability is tuned for both paddling and sailing. The high hull stiffness lets the board respond quickly to your movements. The 81 cm width and 304 L volume give enough stability for a beginner.

The maximum capacity is 145 kg, and the manufacturer recommends the board for paddlers up to 100 kg. Choose a sail no larger than 3 m², as the manufacturer specifies.
