What you get on the NuCanoe Unlimited MAX deck

Bow handle with GripMount plate
The integrated bow handle doubles as a motor mount. The GripMount plate follows the quick release bracket standard, so the MinnKota MKA-21 quick release bracket mounts directly on it and no separate bow motor mount is needed. Fewer parts and simpler installation.

SternPod compartment at the stern
The stern has a built-in SternPod compartment with two SnapLatch closures. It holds two Group 31 batteries for an electric motor and fish finder. When you do not need batteries, the SternPod becomes a dry storage box, a cooler or a livewell.

Rod tunnels and storage positions
Under the gunwales there are two enclosed rod tunnels, so rods do not snag or tangle while you paddle. The deck also has 6 horizontal and 2 vertical rod storage positions, 2 flush mount rod holders, 2 reel recesses, a measuring board shelf and 2 tackle trays with cup holders.

HD inspection hatches and electronics
HD inspection hatches at the bow and stern give access to the inside of the hull for wire routing. Two MaxPort connectors, two rigging plates and a transducer mount let you install a fish finder, motor controls and batteries neatly. There is track everywhere: two 221 cm deck tracks, plus gunwale, floor, bow and stern tracks.

16 scupper holes for a dry deck
The Unlimited MAX has 16 scupper holes and Tarpon drainage channels. With the scuppers open the kayak self-bails, and the safe load is 227 kg. With the scuppers plugged the maximum load is 340 kg (paddlers and gear combined).

360 Fusion Seat
The seat swivels 360 degrees, and the fabric is fused to the frame so it does not sag. The seat bottom is semi-reclined, the backrest is adjustable, and the Fusion base locks firmly to the deck. The stern has a 360 degree swivel handle.

For hunting and paddling with a pet
The open deck suits hunting and paddling with a dog. The wide 104 cm deck has room for both the angler and the pet, and the 340 kg capacity lets you take the dog and all your gear.

What does the 340 kg load capacity mean?

The NuCanoe Unlimited MAX has two limits. With the scupper holes open, the kayak carries 227 kg and water drains off the deck by itself. With the scuppers plugged, the maximum safe load is 340 kg. This includes all people, gear, motor and battery. Examples:

An 85 kg angler with 45 kg of gear makes 130 kg in total, which is within the 227 kg limit.

A 90 kg angler, a 70 kg second person and 80 kg of gear make 240 kg in total, so the scuppers need to be plugged.

Who is the NuCanoe Unlimited MAX for?

✓ Anglers who carry a lot of gear: two fish finders, a motor with batteries, several rods and a cooler

✓ Fishing with a bow mounted electric motor on large lakes and the coast

✓ Hunters and paddlers who go out with a dog

✓ Anyone who needs the most NuCanoe capacity and space

The kayak weighs 52 kg, so it is hard for one person to lift onto a car roof. It is easier to transport on a trailer or pickup, and to roll it to the water on the SideKick Cart wheels.

If you do not need that much capacity, compare it with the NuCanoe Unlimited: it is 381 cm long, carries up to 295 kg and the hull weighs 38 kg. The NuCanoe Unlimited MAX fishing kayak is for those who want the most space and options in one kayak.
